With a shop located in Galerias Bristol and with their own atelier, they have been making fashion for over 30 years in Porto and for the world. This is an establishment with customised confection of their collections and with an exclusive design, which gives the brand its own unique identity. They have had several participations in fashion fairs and usually have assiduous presence in television programs. The confidence in the brand is such that they have already dressed several prominent personalities of social life, as well as participated in television as costume designers of some programmes, with the famous Portuguese series “Claxon” and “Major Alvega”.

Built at the beginning of the First World War, it was originally a goldsmith’s shop, and later came into the ownership of a Spanish merchant who put his name on the main façade. The interior and the façade are clearly inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, giving personality and refinement to the space, inviting you in. It is currently a ready-to-wear establishment, designed and geared towards people who care about the environment. In this sense, its garments are essentially made of cotton, silk, viscose, wool, linen and leather. They also offer different objects, accessories and jewellery, as well as unique clothing, without repeated pieces, from various Portuguese designers and ceramists.

Open since November 3rd, 1973, Novo’s has been a reference for almost 50 years in the Porto fashion scene. Mr. Henrique Vidal, the owner, has combined his passion for fashion and textile knowledge with personalised and specialised service, to provide differentiated fashion to his clients, whether they are long-time clients or new customers. He started by selling jeans, but soon evolved into knitwear, diversifying his offer so that all customers can find the different piece they are looking for. The symbol of the shop is the two dragons, closely linked to the city of Porto, and its motto is “Do not buy, come to Novo’s”.
