Mercado da Invicta is housed in an old space that was once a medieval convent, a Victorian showroom and an auto parts store. In 2016 it is reborn in the form of a collaborative market that houses several artisans in the city.
With rustic stones on the white walls and colorful mosaics in the central aisle, Mercado na Invicta is a beautiful space where the exquisite work of dozens of Porto artisans finds an ideal space to be shown. Visitors to this establishment will find a place where they can breathe the scent of Portuguese craftsmanship of proven quality and great authenticity.

XL arises from an old desire of its owner, Alexandra S. Monteiro, to build a space that reflects her personality and experiences. The search for new things and new designers was one of her priorities, seeking to find a style that represented something fresh in Porto. There is a concern in bridging the gap between classic and modern, combining Scandinavian style, also characterized by simple and functional lines with old styles, such as the 1950s. XL assumes a taste for simplicity of lines, design and of functionality, closely linked to the sometimes chaotic, modern lifestyle, that makes one look for an uncomplicated, elegant and functional home environment.

In professional activity since 1978, the Sociedade de Ferragens Progresso das Antas develops its business activity in the retail trade of crockery, cutlery and other similar articles for domestic use. There are dozens of articles, all very well organised, giving the space a practical and structured sense for the satisfaction of customers’ requests.
For more than four decades they have demonstrated mastery and customers are the first to praise good technical advice and excellent service. Concerned with the continuity of what constitutes the art of hardware, they often accept trainees in a working context, teaching the most diverse techniques of execution of the pieces.
