Inaugurated in 1913, Ourivesaria Brilhante presents a refined space with antique furniture. Located in downtown Porto, Ourivesaria Brilhante is currently one of the Portuguese official licensed evaluators. It features a vast collection of gold and silver jewelery and decorative items. Ourivesaria Brilhante first owner was Mr. Queiroz, who pierced the business in the early 1940s along with Mr. Manuel da Cruz Camareiro (whose trade name was Manuel Pessoa). Currently the owner is the daughter of Mr. Manuel Pessoa and since 1996 has associated employee Arlindo Santos, official evaluator of “Casa da Moeda” (Coin House), ensuring the continuity of the business.

Mesh is a jewellery brand from Porto. The pieces are designed for daily use and timeless individuality. Mesh was born in 2016, but the roots begin in the 1950s, when the founders’ grandfather, José Martins Barbosa, launched himself into the manufacture of innovative machines and tools for the jewellery industry. After setting up his own jewellery workshop, he developed new technologies and production techniques that were disruptive for the time. Inheriting this vision and passion for jewellery, the two brothers, Tiago and João, belonging to the 3rd generation, realised that the modern woman of today desires a jewellery model that highlights her individuality and they adapted their vision to contemporaneity.

Founded in 1988, Giarte was originally dedicated to medals and the production of art objects – collections and limited edition pieces in noble metals. Always with an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, it is currently dedicated to the creation, commercialisation, repairing and personalisation of articles of jewellery and goldsmithery, as well as the commercialisation of tools and accessories of support to the industry and schools of jewellery.
