Founded in 1947, Casa Soleiro sells quality footwear and leather goods repair products. It is one of the largest suppliers of shoemakers and shoe factories in the city of Porto. On the façade are two unusual clogs, hanging on the door as if it were a sign, already integrating the memory of that traditional artery near the Sé Church and São Bento Station. Tourists come to Casa Soleiro delighted with a kind of time travel that this establishment provides for those who visit, with the long wooden counter and the boxes and products displayed on the shelves in the same way since the founding of the store.

There is a great diversity of articles, from vintage pieces to pieces with a more modern design. All available pieces are unique and have a special soul, many of which are made from recycled materials (patchwork or fabric waste). Here you will find original clothing by its owner, the designer Vitória Correia, other designers’ clothing and antique clothing, as well as handicrafts and decorative objects. All items can be customized to customers’ personal taste.
The Amilod Zareg is the brand created by Marlene Torres, fashion designer. In this space you will find designer pieces and fashion accessories with national design. The designer, who started by creating pieces for other stores in the arts quarter, creates clothes that she considers “delicate, very feminine and different from any other fashion”. The offer is varied, and you can find from blouses dresses, including bespoke wedding dresses, as well as coats, hats and bags. The brand is based on principles of sustainability, delicacy, comfort and praise for women. In this establishment, in addition to its own products, it also offers footwear, jewellery and knitwear by other designers.
