Queijaria Amaral is the oldest cheese factory in Porto, having been founded in 1928. Since 2018 it has become one of the city’s historic shops as part of the “Porto de Tradição” municipal program.
In this establishment all products are of Portuguese origin. This cheese shop specializes in Serra da Estrela cheese, but it also includes a wide variety of cheese from other regions. It also has sections of cold cuts, ham and sausages, selling traditional smokehouse from the best regions of the country, as well as bread from Bragança, Mirandela and Avintes.

Open since 2012, Porto Burgo is a handcrafted grocery store that promises its customers an offer with the best that is made in Portugal. It sells items such as wines, spirits and tableware, from all regions, jams, main houses of the country, all kinds of preserves, with emphasis on tuna and sardines, liqueurs, craft beers, the drinks that Portugal increasingly embraces, chocolates, cookies, cod, soaps, among many others. Naturally, in an increasingly foreign-oriented city, Porto Burgo has miniatures of all these items so that they can be carried on the plane.

Opened to the public in 1925, the Feira do Bacalhau is one of the oldest houses in the city of Porto specialized in the cod trade. It is a family business that has been passing from generation to generation over time. In our space, cod is the king and the main attraction for our visitors. The almost centenary Feira do Bacalhau also has a vast wine cellar, nuts, vegetables, quality olive oil among more delicious grocery products.
This shop is located in a noteworthy place with details lost in time in the form of old hand painted panel, which invokes themes from the East.
