Located in one of the busiest areas of the city, Confeitaria Aliança is known for its sweets that always go well with a coffee. In that sense, it presents itself as an interesting place for a mid-morning and afternoon breakfast or snack. But, in addition to sweets, Aliança offers a wide variety of snacks and sandwiches, such steaks or “bifanas”. You can have your meal here and enjoy one of the aforementioned snacks or one of our inexpensive daily dishes, which always include a vegetarian alternative.

Inaugurated in 1948 by the Ramos Family. Mr. Artur Ramos has transmitted over the years his knowledge in the making of the famous Tripas (guts). It has already been awarded in the contest “Hoje há Tripas”. The restaurant reopened in 2014 with a renewed image and under new management. It offers experiences of typical Porto flavors, as well as explores Italian cuisine from pasta and risottos. You can also appreciate the most renowned artists in the space, such as exterior “graffiti” of illustrious figures of history (Marques da Silva, Almeida Garrett, D. Pedro IV, Infante D. Henrique and Nicolau Nasoni). It also invites to know the exhibition of photos of the renowned architect Conceição Ferreira, inside the restaurant.

A space designed with the goal of being a flower-filled garden overlooking the river, where you could enjoy socializing with friends and good food at any time of the day. The choice of Camelia as a name and symbol is a tribute to Porto, as this native flower species from Asia was introduced in Portugal during the nineteenth century and became an emblematic flower of the city of Porto. Between November and April, when other flowers are rare, camellias bloom and can be admired in all their splendor in the many gardens of Porto. Here you can try some of our specialties such as various types of gourmet coffee, humus, bowls, salads, toasts, cocktails and smoothies.
