Founded in 1928, Pedro A. Baptista is distinguished by gold and silver jewelery, with its own design and execution by hand, guaranteeing the quality and prestige that characterizes it. This establishment was founded by António Dias Ribeiro Gasparinho Júnior, a merchant who stands out for his creativity, making him one of the most respected goldsmiths in the country. In 1928 the company is acquired by Pedro A. Batista who continues this prestigious goldsmith. This entrepreneur gave the space more refinement and kept the good taste in the pieces. To this fact contributed greatly the creative capacity of his brother-in-law, architect Fernando Bastos Monteiro.

Located in one of the noblest areas of the city, Relojoaria da Batalha is one of the oldest clock houses in downtown Porto. It has more than 55 years of existence and is one of the few watch houses in Oporto that sells antique mechanical, wrist and pocket watches. It was founded by José Mendonça de Costa. Its current owner Eduardo Pinto, a former employee, inherited from the founder his knowledge and fascination with mechanical watches, thus not ending the art of mechanical watchmaking in the city of Porto. You can find, among others, Omega, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget, Audemars Piaguet, Patek Phillippe, Breitling, Zenith, IWC or Longines watches.

From antique models of centenary rings to exclusive jewellery made from precious stones, it has a wide variety of jewels for all tastes. It also has a “low cost” range of rings, bracelets and necklaces, for all kinds of occasions. One of its main focuses is to find jewellery pieces with a unique and distinct touch, ensuring that customers always find something different.
