All dishes can be served on a menu with refreshing drinks, as well as lunch menus, with an offer that varies every day of the week. It has a full bar and free Wi-Fi.

Let’s talk about couverts. If there are restaurants that put the tickets on the table without the customer asking, permission is requested here. However, according to customers, entries should be mandatory. The chef Luís Américo makes sure that all the confection is handmade and made on site. So, if you spread black garlic butter and paprika on a sweet, still warm, sweet potato bread, you need not ask where such delicacy will come from. Comes from the chef’s kitchen. And we are only talking about entries. With a strong focus on Portuguese cuisine, chef Luís Américo added simple things of direct flavors to his dishes, depending on the trips he made. Inaugurated in 1931, Escondidinho was the first restaurant to obtain two Michelin stars in 1936, which made the restaurant a place of excellence.
Its dining room, which reproduces the comfort of the 18th century residences, with the ornamental strength of the old faience and the showy ceramic wainscoting, imitating the Delft school, with its extraordinary beauty tiles, stands out for its beauty.
In the Escondidinho Restaurant you can enjoy the unique flavors of Porto gastronomy, such as “tripas” (gut), cod, beef or “cataplana”, always with a service of recognized excellence.

Renovated in 2017, Café Cifrão offers a space with a simple, warm and familiar decor, with a recognized friendly staff. Here you can snack, have a drink, have a complete meal and socialize on the terrace, an ideal space to share a moment with friends. As it should be, Café Cifrão serves francesinhas (for some, one of the best) but also sandwiches, “pregos no prato” (steak), omelets, hotdogs, hamburgers, “alheiras”, special mixed sandwiches, among others. It also serves breakfast, as well as affordable lunch menus. It has an extensive list of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and even offers its customers wifi.
