Rainha do Carvalhido is a self-made confectionery and pastry shop with many years of experience. Here we always offer hot bread recently baked and locally made cakes. Here you can buy artistic and personalized cakes with photos and messages for all kinds of celebrations. In addition, it is a quiet and good atmosphere, suitable for a break while having a coffee and one of its well-known miniatures or “natas” with various flavors, such as cream and lemon. But not only will you find bread and cakes in Rainha do Carvalhido, as every day we serve at lunch homemade meals at a budget price with a variety of meat, fish and salads.

Opened in 2013, it is a bar which opens to the street, with music, concerts and snacks. In the middle of downtown Porto, it tries to bring the street to the street, in this reciprocity of undergoing, experiences and smells. The Rua occupies an old building in the area, with a characteristic interior patio. The architectural project of adaptation to the bar sought to realise the idea of approaching the street, of integration and continuity, using elements and materials from the exterior urbanity, such as the granite of the pavement, the balcony iron bars, the typical tiles and the urban graffiti. On the menu, you can find various solutions for drinking and snacking, ‘potatoes bravas’ (extremely spicy potatoes), padrón peppers, tibornas (similar to a Bruschetta), among others, and even a puff pastry Francesinha.

Manteigaria is a custard tart factory with a public service desk. It has two stores in the city of Porto, located in the Clérigos and in the Bolhão area.
Inside it is possible for the customer to observe the whole process of making cream puffs, completely handmade: from the preparation of the dough to the addition of the cream, and, of course, the moment when the cakes are baked. Cream Puffs can be enjoyed inside the store or taken outside. Manteigaria also has the particularity of announcing in the street, through a bell, the exit of a new batch of tartlets ready to be tasted.
