Sala 117 is a gallery and platform for the dissemination of contemporary artistic practices. At a cross between different languages, media and processes, the gallery is increasingly dedicated to supporting and promoting the work of emerging artists. Founded in 2016 in the city of Porto, its program includes exhibitions and curatorial projects of the artists represented, as well as research and dissemination of young Portuguese and international artists. It has a business hour when it is open to the public, but, if necessary, also makes attendance according to appointment.

What sets Tcharan apart is the literary and graphic identity embedded in its books, with covers based on high quality illustration and graphic design. Along with the publisher, there is the Papa -Books bookstore, located in the Miguel Bombarda area, where the book covers are highlighted and are themselves the target of exhibition.

Located near Casa da Música, Confetti Parade is a very interesting shop where you will find everything you may need to mask yourself. Be it Halloween or Carnival, you find various types of costumes. There are queens of hearts, ninjas, pirates, princesses, cowboys, unicorns, movie and series characters, hippies, firemen and pandas. In addition you will also find make-up, wigs and various accessories that will assist you in the transformation process. And don’t worry because here you can buy family-friendly disguises from parents to children. Confetti Parade is available to respond to your most demanding requests.
