In this open studio, the client/visitor will be able to observe, purchase and create together with the Painter Hugo do Lago in his creative space. Hugo do Lago is an artist who studied at Camberwell College of Arts London, UWE Bristol and has a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto. After a few years abroad, he decided to return to his city and open, in 2017, an Art space in Porto which offers the best of his experience and shows the best of the city. Here you can buy original works created by yourself (Watercolours – Acrylic on canvas – Drawing), custom-made frames or participate in daily workshops, at varied schedules, of Painting, Water colouring and Drawing.

Since 2009, Candelabro has been defined as a café, a library and a bookstore. While having a coffee, a glass of wine or a cocktail you can enjoy some of the books available for sale. In fact, being a café, it keeps its book activity active, publishing literary works and buying and selling books, photographs, maps, postcards and other documents. It is a space characterized by a unique and cozy atmosphere with quality ambient music, ideal for a night of conversation with friends. Weather permitting, you can enjoy our pleasant and iconic terrace. It also develops various cultural and artistic activities, which you can follow along with your agenda.

Embaixada do Porto is a multipurpose space in downtown Porto that privileges the analog. It has been in existence since 2013 and its mission is to be the go-to for lovers of photography, music and retro and vintage style. Downstairs you will find a store dedicated to analog and instant photography and music: Polaroids, photographic rolls, turntables, vinyls. On the first floor, with ripped windows over the square and Carmo Church, is the Embaixada’s Bar, which is a café during the day and a bar at night. There are different styles of music every day of the week, and you can drink a mojito or piña colada, or eat a salad or a Nutella pancake. On Saturdays there are Photography Workshops.
