Humana is a non-profit association that promotes the reuse of used clothing through its second hand fashion stores. Since 1998, he has been working on environmental protection through textile reuse and conducting both development cooperation programs in Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau and local support in Portugal. It seeks to make the most of textile waste by collecting, through a network of containers, textile donations from citizens and preparing them for reuse. The goal is to give clothing a second life and favor the circular economy model. Through reuse, a waste is transformed into a resource.

Located in an old grocery store from the 50’s, in the artistic zone of the city of Porto, the scar-id store, founded in 2013, specializes in the commercialization of Portuguese designer design, presenting a careful selection of small collections, limited editions and unique pieces of global design.
The selection of products that scar-id presents is based on exclusivity, innovation and identity, involving the areas of fashion design, accessories, furniture and product.
At the same time, its space also houses a design laboratory, an architecture studio and a photography studio.

The Amilod Zareg is the brand created by Marlene Torres, fashion designer. In this space you will find designer pieces and fashion accessories with national design. The designer, who started by creating pieces for other stores in the arts quarter, creates clothes that she considers “delicate, very feminine and different from any other fashion”. The offer is varied, and you can find from blouses dresses, including bespoke wedding dresses, as well as coats, hats and bags. The brand is based on principles of sustainability, delicacy, comfort and praise for women. In this establishment, in addition to its own products, it also offers footwear, jewellery and knitwear by other designers.
