In 2010, with the will to overcome the crisis, the brand ‘Sushi em tua casa’ (Sushi in your home) is born. After homemade sushi experiences, the result was so positive that the chance to commercialise the art of the creator arose. From the grandmother’s house to an industrial kitchen, after two years it became small. A super kitchen was opened, with a service area, biological garden and more recently a photographic studio. Naturally, the expansion happened. They have nine houses all over the country, with the guarantee that the sushimen are trained by the mentor and in constant communication, ensuring that the technical specifications of the products are followed to the letter. The products are natural and healthy, with freshly prepared pieces and fresh ingredients.

At Taparikas – Pecado das Tapas, you will find, as the name implies, a “tapas” (snacks) restaurant, but it is much more than that. It also sells regional products, such as cheese, and has a varied menu, with the specialty being steak or cod loin on hot volcanic stones. With menus suggested by the staff to suit individual tastes, it is worth going to Taparikas for the food but also for the atmosphere. If you choose to share a meal, the choice must fall on the cheese, sausages or salmon boards. The next step will be to dive into the snacks, as we have choices for everyone, like sausages, fish, seafood, vegetables, among others. You can also choose the “francesinha”.

Inserted in the corner of an old building, the Restaurante Encontro Art Caffe encloses in its space a mixture of contemporary and ancient, where encounter and art mix. In this space, the heritage of traditional Portuguese cuisine is preserved, with the confection of regional and local dishes, punctuated with modern notes, updating and giving unique identity to their dishes. The temporal migration occurs with the decoration, with modern lines, creating a welcoming, intimate and familiar environment, thus carrying the culinary tradition to the XXI century. It also has a basement for celebrations and festivities, prepared to receive groups, families and companies.
