Inaugurated in December 2011, in the historic center of Porto, in a restored 19th century building, Ag Jewels is a goldsmith whose focus is what is best done in this area of Portugal: the art of filigree.
Maintaining the manufacture of Portuguese models, we do not neglect the search for innovation, constantly presenting new models, always through a 100% handmade manufacturing process.
At the same time, it sells watches and jewelry from several internationally recognized manufacturers.

Founded in 1928, Pedro A. Baptista is distinguished by gold and silver jewelery, with its own design and execution by hand, guaranteeing the quality and prestige that characterizes it. This establishment was founded by António Dias Ribeiro Gasparinho Júnior, a merchant who stands out for his creativity, making him one of the most respected goldsmiths in the country. In 1928 the company is acquired by Pedro A. Batista who continues this prestigious goldsmith. This entrepreneur gave the space more refinement and kept the good taste in the pieces. To this fact contributed greatly the creative capacity of his brother-in-law, architect Fernando Bastos Monteiro.

Casa Mendonça, opened since 1957, but with a family tradition in the very old watchmaking art, stands at the forefront of Portuguese watchmaking, through a formula of success: it combines the tradition of family business with updated technical knowledge. The business remains familiar, which has been around since the early twentieth century. This means that there is a unique relationship between watchmaking, Porto, and clients, many of whom are grandparents, children and grandchildren of the same family.
