Mod’s Hair’s history began in 1968, following the decision of two brothers, young hairdressers, to form a team to comb photographic models. This establishment is part of an international French chain, which has been in existence for 50 years and is headquartered in Paris. This branch in Porto is the first of its kind to open its doors in Portugal. His team consists of studio hairdressers, working exclusively with hot scissors (The Carecut) and thus presenting the city with an original alternative to haircutting. Mod’s Hair also offers beauty services such as manicure and pedicure.

OPFC results from the clinical and personal experience of its founding partners, who have realised that public and private medical institutions usually focus on standardised diagnosis and treatment of problems. They intend to go beyond this by seeking accurate diagnoses, offering personalised treatment options and, above all, treating with the utmost rigour and urgency. They consider all cases a priority, doing everything in their power to solve the problem that motivated the consultation. They aim to spread the concept of rapid and individualised treatment of the problem. The first clinic appeared in Porto, but they want to grow and expand their practices.

Inaugurated in 1976, the Farmácia Mafalda owes its name to its owner, Maria Aurora Carranho Mafalda. Initially installed in Monte Cativo street, in 1994 it was transferred to the current address. It offers several services, such as pharmaceutical counselling, pharmacotherapeutic accompaniment, measurement of biochemical and physiological parameters. Here you are able to measure levels of glycaemia, total cholesterol, triglycerides, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, weight, height, body mass index, among others. Its specialties are dermocosmetics, veterinary products, having a space dedicated to animals, phytotherapy and childcare articles, with articles for babies and children.
