Thema is located in the heart of Porto and specializes in jewelry. They do not only operate according to market trends. It is said that its “hues, textures, shapes, matter, are accomplices and establish strong connections among themselves.” From this originality comes the identity of this establishment, marked by the simplicity of an understanding and an approach to the world of jewelry. It is not the articles that impose on customers, it is the customers who sculpt every trace of the pieces and shape them. In this way, they evade the obvious aesthetics and promote the uniqueness of each client, trying to promote individual identity.

Inaugurated in 1913, Ourivesaria Brilhante presents a refined space with antique furniture. Located in downtown Porto, Ourivesaria Brilhante is currently one of the Portuguese official licensed evaluators. It features a vast collection of gold and silver jewelery and decorative items. Ourivesaria Brilhante first owner was Mr. Queiroz, who pierced the business in the early 1940s along with Mr. Manuel da Cruz Camareiro (whose trade name was Manuel Pessoa). Currently the owner is the daughter of Mr. Manuel Pessoa and since 1996 has associated employee Arlindo Santos, official evaluator of “Casa da Moeda” (Coin House), ensuring the continuity of the business.

Collectiva is an independent platform and store-gallery. Arises with the intention of promoting the Portuguese jewelery of author in the feminine. It is based on criteria of identity, contemporaneity and exclusivity, and aims to promote the work of emerging Portuguese designers and brands, with limited editions and exclusive pieces, as well as a wider program of exhibitions and regular events. This is also a space for reflection on design and the act of artistic creation, current Portuguese jewelery and the relationship of the product with the market, the public and urban culture. The founders of Collectiva are the authors Ana Bragança, Joana Santos, Lia Gonçalves, Marta Pinto Ribeiro and Susana Teixeira.
