It all started in 1968, when Pedro Guimarães accepted Joaquim Mitnitsky's invitation to work in decoration at his studio, after he graduated in painting in Lisbon. He worked in his atelier for four years and decided to venture out on his own, opening the first shop in Bairro Alto, the Obelisco. In 1976, he opened a shop in Porto, a city that still welcomes him today. Pedro Guimarães is one of the most renowned interior designers and this shop reveals some details of his philosophy. You can either enter to buy a pillow or to order a project, being sure that this will be the first of many conversations.
