Founded in 1994 by Manuela Medeiros, Parfois is a Portuguese brand that specializes in the production of fashion accessories geared towards women and with a focus on making fashion accessible. The brand started in Porto and currently there are over 900 stores of this brand in over 65 countries. The brand also operates through an online store.

Initially constituted in 2016, on the other side of the Douro River, with the intention of offering its customers the latest international trends when it comes to Haute Couture fabrics. The demand becomes frequent and the offer in the centre of Porto is scarce. In this sense, it opens its first space in this location, in 2021, presenting a wide range of all kinds of fabrics, keeping Haute Couture as its main commercial purpose. They are also specialists in ceremonial and bridal fabrics, focusing on an offer of sustainable fabrics, cottons and haberdashery products. Their main mission is to bring together, in a single space, emotions and decisions that will last over time.

It was born from the pleasure of the journey and the fascination for the mix of styles in fashion, especially avant-garde, with a deep environmental concern, which focuses on the manufacturing processes of products in small quantities and the materials used, object of great investigation and rigor, in order to provide the customer with the best fabrics in timeless designs and limited pieces. Thus appeared the desire to gather and carry out brand curatorship of independent designers from various countries, creating a new concept of dress, which fills a gap in the market with increasing demand.
