Thema is located in the heart of Porto and specializes in jewelry. They do not only operate according to market trends. It is said that its “hues, textures, shapes, matter, are accomplices and establish strong connections among themselves.” From this originality comes the identity of this establishment, marked by the simplicity of an understanding and an approach to the world of jewelry. It is not the articles that impose on customers, it is the customers who sculpt every trace of the pieces and shape them. In this way, they evade the obvious aesthetics and promote the uniqueness of each client, trying to promote individual identity.

This is also a space for reflection on design and the act of artistic creation, current Portuguese jewelery and the relationship of the product with the market, the public and urban culture. The founders of Collectiva are the authors Ana Bragança, Joana Santos, Lia Gonçalves, Marta Pinto Ribeiro and Susana Teixeira.

Silver Gallery was founded in 2017 and is a shop specialised in traditional Portuguese jewellery, handcrafted and exclusive. From antique models of centenary rings to exclusive jewellery made from precious stones, it has a wide variety of jewels for all tastes. It also has a “low cost” range of rings, bracelets and necklaces, for all kinds of occasions. One of its main focuses is to find jewellery pieces with a unique and distinct touch, ensuring that customers always find something different. In this sense, they produce most of their jewellery, through an essentially manual process, with ethical manufacturing care, with the aim of obtaining pieces of fine jewellery that last.

Cláudia Soares, the owner, has always worked in the goldsmithery/watchmaking area. After many years of experience she decided to open her own space. In January 2020 she acquired this establishment and decided to do some work in order to receive her clients in a modern and welcoming space, barely knowing that a pandemic would delay its opening. However, it opened its doors to the public on July 1st, with a varied offer in silver, gold, steel and watches. The bet is clear: always try to have the latest trends in the area, with refinement and with affordable and competitive prices. There is a clear bet on personalised service because, as the owner says, captivating customers “is part of my day to day”.
