Lugar da Jóia project started long before the opening of its first commercial space. Its founder, António Miranda, began his professional activity as an apprentice, eventually starting to set up his own jewelry production, import and distribution company. The first Lugar da Jóia establishment was created in 2006 as a project aimed at a young middle and upper class audience and intended to represent a breath of fresh air in the national jewelry and traditional watch market traditionally associated with the high class.
