Founded in 2009, Riera Alta owes its name to a street in Barcelona where owner Cláudia Andrade took the first steps in handicrafts. Thus, you can expect from this space many activities. It was precisely in sewing that Riera Alta stood out and was developing its activity and is today a reference studio in Porto. Lightning Bolt is a vintage American brand, an icon born out of surfing in the summer of 1971, in Hawaii. The brand is inspired by its long history and reinterprets each season, through original, functional, and versatile and contemporary collections, for active lifestyles, comfortable and with a distinctive aesthetic. They sell quality products, developed and produced in Portuguese textile factories, which are then distributed all over the world, rising to a premium level within the lifestyle brands. The ray brand has as its motto “Destroy the Waves Not the Beaches” and remains faithful to its authenticity and originality, always cool, which respects the environment, people and nature.

Built at the beginning of the First World War, it was originally a goldsmith’s shop, and later came into the ownership of a Spanish merchant who put his name on the main façade. The interior and the façade are clearly inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, giving personality and refinement to the space, inviting you in. It is currently a ready-to-wear establishment, designed and geared towards people who care about the environment. In this sense, its garments are essentially made of cotton, silk, viscose, wool, linen and leather. They also offer different objects, accessories and jewellery, as well as unique clothing, without repeated pieces, from various Portuguese designers and ceramists.
