Barbearia Tinoco is already in the 1930s almanac in its current location, where it is referred to as the property of Manuel Fernandes Tinoco. The decoration of this barber shop is part of the city’s heritage. Noteworthy are the marble washbasins, the floor covered with fan mosaics, the iron chairs and the huge mirrors, in a set with strong Art Deco inspiration. Not to mention the old steam towel warmer, which was then placed on the customers’ faces, as well as the small marble counters in front of each chair that also served to set trays with the snack served from a neighborhood café.

Barbearia Passos Manuel has been around since 1938. Located on the ground floor of the Passos Manuel Garage, it passes almost unnoticed. Its space is bright, warm and genuine, with three barber chairs, cushioned wood walls and restored skylight. In addition to being able to benefit from the expertise and experience of your barbers, you can buy shaving products or have a drink while you wait your turn and listen to the songs in your handpicked playlist. There is a bet on a broad operation and a relationship with the Porto musical circuit, since since 2019 the Barbearia Passos Manuel shares management with its neighbor, the emblematic cultural space Maus Hábitos.
